Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development of e-commerce websites with advanced functionalities, including coupon logic, discount structures, multi-vendor support, and diverse user types (e.g., wholesaler, retailer).
- Architect, design, and implement scalable backend solutions using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB for optimal performance and flexibility.
- Utilize strong API creation skills to build robust and secure interfaces for various platform functionalities, ensuring smooth communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Deploy applications on AWS infrastructure using Docker containers, managing scalability, security, and performance optimizations.
- Implement and optimize database queries, ensuring efficient performance and responsiveness of the application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, frontend developers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and a unified user experience.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews and providing technical expertise to elevate the team’s capabilities.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, recommending innovative solutions to enhance the platform’s functionality and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience as a Node.js Developer, specializing in complex e-commerce website development.
- Proven track record in building and deploying full-fledged e-commerce platforms with advanced functionalities like coupon logic, multi-vendor support, and varied user types.
- Expertise in backend technologies including Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and proficiency in database query optimization.
- Strong command over API creation and integration, ensuring robust communication between systems.
- Experience deploying applications on AWS using Docker containers or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their application in solving complex problems.
- Ability to work in an agile environment, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
